1. Overview

FeaturAsk provides a feedback collection and management platform that helps businesses gather, organize, and prioritize user feature requests through an embeddable widget and dashboard. The platform is designed to support informed decision-making based on user feedback and engagement data but does not guarantee specific outcomes or performance improvements.

2. Services

Our services include:

  • Feature request collection widget
  • Request management dashboard
  • Voting and engagement tracking
  • User feedback analytics
  • Integration tools and optional API access
  • Customization options for widget appearance

FeaturAsk may update, add, or modify features as the platform evolves.

3. Accounts and Subscriptions

  • An active user account is required to access the platform
  • We currently offer a single annual subscription plan
  • Users must provide accurate and current account details
  • One subscription is valid for one webpage, with the option to update that webpage during the subscription year
  • Users are responsible for maintaining their account and login security
  • After cancellation:
    • The widget may remain visible but will no longer function
    • Users are responsible for removing widget code from their website
    • The widget code does not remove itself automatically
    • For best user experience, we recommend removing it if not renewing your subscription

4. User Content and Rights

  • Users retain ownership of their submitted feature requests and feedback
  • Organizations using the widget can manage and moderate submissions
  • Public feature requests may be visible to other users
  • With permission, we may feature exemplary use cases for promotional or educational purposes
  • By submitting content, users grant FeaturAsk a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely to provide the service

5. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

  • Submit inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content
  • Violate intellectual property rights
  • Share account credentials without authorization
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the platform
  • Manipulate voting or analytics data
  • Use the service for spam or harassment

6. Data and Privacy

  • We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • FeaturAsk implements security measures designed to protect user data; however, no system is entirely risk-free
  • Organizations using the widget are responsible for complying with their own website's privacy obligations
  • We comply with applicable data protection laws to the best of our ability
  • Users can request data export or deletion in accordance with applicable laws

7. Intellectual Property

  • The FeaturAsk platform, brand, software, and widget code are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
  • Organizations receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use our widget on their authorized domains
  • API usage is subject to rate limits and API-specific terms
  • Custom widget themes created by organizations remain their property
  • Ownership of feature request content remains with the original submitter

8. Limitation of Liability

FeaturAsk provides tools to collect and organize user feedback but is not responsible for:

  • How organizations interpret or implement that feedback
  • The accuracy or reliability of user-submitted content
  • Business or product decisions based on collected data
  • Integration issues with third-party systems
  • Content moderation decisions made by organizations
  • Website or browser compatibility issues

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FeaturAsk's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the subscription during the current billing period.

9. Service Level and Support

Service Availability:

  • We aim to maintain high uptime and reliability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
  • The platform depends on third-party hosting and API providers, which may impact availability
  • Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen outages may occur, and we will provide notice when possible

Support:

  • Support is available via email during standard business hours
  • Response times vary based on volume, but critical issues are prioritized
  • API rate limits and usage policies apply as specified in your account

10. Billing and Refunds

Subscription Model:

  • Annual subscription only
  • One subscription per webpage, with unlimited reassignment during the subscription year
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal

Refund Policy:

  • We offer a 7-day refund window for new annual subscriptions
  • Refunds are issued only in these cases:
    • Within 7 days of a new annual subscription
    • In case of billing errors or duplicate charges caused by FeaturAsk
  • No refunds are issued beyond this period, except where required by law

Refund Requests:

  • Must be submitted within 7 days through our support page or by emailing support@featurask.com
  • Refund eligibility is determined based on purchase date in our records

Payment Information:

  • Customers must keep payment methods current to avoid service interruption
  • Service access may be paused if payment fails
  • To prevent data loss, ensure your subscription remains active or export data before expiration

11. Termination and Data Retention

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms
  • Users may cancel their subscription at any time
  • Data associated with cancelled subscriptions is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted
  • Deleted data cannot be recovered after this period
  • Export important data before cancelling or within the retention window
  • Platform access ends upon subscription termination

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in services or legal requirements. When significant changes occur, users will be notified by email or platform notice. Continued use of FeaturAsk after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
